Britt McHenry was born in New Jersey and is a survivor of brain cancer, having had a brain tumor removed in March of 2020. She publicly revealed her diagnosis in February of 2020. Her father is Lt. Colonel McHenry, of the US Air Force.
Britt graduated from the Medill School of Journalism and worked for a Washington ABC affiliate, WJLA-TV and its sister station, NewsChannel 8. She was also a sports reporter and replacement anchor. She has worked for Fox Sports and Fox Nation. She currently hosts a show on Fox 5.
