Hailing from New Jersey, Carley Shimkus graduated with her BA in broadcast journalism from Quinnipiac. During her senior year there, she interned at Fox in Washington, D.C. Fox then hired her on as a news producer. She was promoted to associate producer of FBN’s Imus in the Morning in 2012.
Shimkus was next promoted from behind the camera to act as an on-air host for Fox & Friends First, where she is currently the headlines reporter. She also co-hosts Fox Nation with Rob Schmitt.
