7. Al Mirqab
Completed in 2008, this superyacht belongs to former Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani. It was built at Peters Schiffbau Wewelsfleth yard in Germany and is worth around $250 Million. The yacht can accommodate 24 guests and 55 crew members. The Al Mirqab features 10 guest suites and two VIP suites for the yacht owner. It is also fitted with a cinema, outside bars, an inside swimming pool, an outdoor jacuzzi, as well as a helipad. The yacht is frequently berthed along the Grecian Faliro coast. It was named ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ at The World Superyacht Awards in 2009, where it also won ‘Best Interior Design’ for the stunning work of designer Andrew Winch.
